Rico Mark Lewis is an athelete playing for Champions Manchester City.


The English has previously had game time during pre - season together with pre season and Wednesday 2/11/2022 saw the duo shortlisted in the starting XL that beat Sevilla 3 - 1 on the last group stage game, UEFA Champions League.


Rico became the second youngest player to debut in the European competition with some days shy of his 18th birthday.


Pep Guardiola has always insisted on the importance of each and every of his squad members saying everyone has a contribution to make should the side fancy winning more silverware. This was evidenced by the manager giving game time to sensational Cole Palmer, wingback Rico Lewis and LB Josh Wilson - Esbrand.


Rico made his first full debut pinning a one time strike that went over Bono's palms. He celebrated thereafter with a hand - over - mouth. His goal was a joy for fellow teammates especially with it being an equaliser after Sevilla had planted from the header a sumptuous goal.


With Lewis and co, the club is guaranteed of future talent with Guardiola having been specifically acquired for the same purpose.


Julian Alvarez and Riyad Mahrez also scored in the match to make see of a wonderful group stage passage in Seville.
